What is this?
"Just a Blue Cat" is a series of comics and doodles about a simple and silly blue cat-blob named Cynyan in various scenarios based on personal or common experiences, thoughts, random ideas, etc
The series is created by a bored artist doodling on her iPad every other night not only to help her fall asleep, but also to share smiles around the world.Do you want the long answer?
One night in June, I was sleep-deprived and grabbed my iPad to doodle a little, and ended up drawing two blue cats who represented me and my then partner sleeping next to each other. It may sound silly, but over time I started to scribble the cats more and more because I found it to be quite therapeutic and calming, especially before falling asleep when I feel most anxious.
I noticed that people really seemed to like the little fella as much as I did doodling it, so eventually I felt it was necessary to create a dedicated page for all the doodles and comic ideas I'd come up with so I wouldn't clog up my main accounts. I also decided it'd be fun to make more blobs that'd represent my friends! I drew some of them on the first tweet of the account, and they appear in comics every now and again.The popularity this little series has gained is beyond what I expected, and I am extremely grateful to all the people who are enjoying it!
I've always loved sharing my work with the world to smile and inspire, and I'm glad to keep doing that with Just a Blue Cat as well!I use ProCreate to for all the art, at rare times I use Paint Tool SAI on PC.

Cynyan's identity and such is all up to you to be as relatable as possible.

Honestly, I don't know, I just think it's cute. It could be because I came from the early 2010's furry era and Flipnote Hatena era with the silly faces, so my general art-style is derived from it!How does Cynyan walk?

There are a few comics where a spooky form of Cynyan appears, it will be explained more in the lore so I will not spoil it!
For now, all you need to know is that when Cynyan is very hungry, it does have the ability to turn spooky, kind of like a cute eldrich monster.
